Construction Project Manager

Overview

Clearfield Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee an £8 million office-to-residential conversion project in the Bracknell / Reading area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a substantial construction project with a two-year programme, offering long-term continuity of work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the project from site, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

* Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Monitor project progress, quality standards and health and safety compliance.

* Coordinate with the commercial, technical and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

* Manage programmes, resources, procurement and project reporting.

* Identify and resolve site issues, maintaining high standards throughout the conversion process.

* Ensure all works comply with relevant building regulations, specifications and contractual requirements.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.

* Experience managing commercial or residential construction projects; office-to-residential conversion experience would be advantageous.

* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

* Good knowledge of construction programmes, budgets, quality control and health and safety.

* Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple workstreams effectively
