Job Description

AECOM/Hunt is seeking an experienced Construction Project Executive for our ongoing project at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.

• Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. 
• Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. 
• Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout. 
• Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 12 years of construction Project Management experience with 4 years of demonstrated leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirement: 

• 12+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience in construction on large, mega construction projects.
• Experience in construction in convention center(s), hotels, or related industries.
• Proficiency in construction project management nomenclature, financing, business development and leading large construction project teams.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Experience and ability to assemble and manage productive construction teams in a large GC environment.
