Construction Inspector | Engineering Tech

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (www.primeeng.com), a multi-faceted A&E firm with 20 offices in 10 States and over 475 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast, is seeking Construction Inspectors (Roadway, Highway, Bridge) for projects in primarily in the Maryland counties of Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, and Talbot.

Position Overview:

The primary function of this role will be to assist in monitoring and inspecting infrastructure construction projects in the field.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform earthwork, concrete, structural, drainage, asphalt, water, sewer, utility, and materials inspections on construction projects. 
• Support project activities by performing calculations, measurements, documentation, and other technical and engineering-related functions. 
• Perform verification or acceptance testing of construction materials in the field or at the laboratory.  
• Correspond with impacted stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction inspection or construction material testing.
• Other certifications such as MARTCP HMA field, concrete field; American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing, etc. will be considered.
• A valid drivers’ license.
