We have an opportunity for a consultant with strong construction / engineering experience to support documentation and project readiness. This consultant will need to collaborate with internal teams focusing on documentation as it relates to pre-construction builds of data centers. The consultant will work with a Technical Project Manager focusing on document management and tracking, overflow support for document intake and dissemination support within the EDMS system and other team tools. The person will need to be a quick learner who is able to work independently, but should be able to collaborate with internal teams on learnings and findings.

Role Responsibilities
- Document Readiness :
- Guide team members on metadata requirements, migration processes, tool functionality, and timelines for Knowledge Management tools.
- Coordinate program-level updates, lead meetings, and close action items related to document status and delivery.
- Offer expertise on document types, industry best practices, and processes, with a focus on engineering design, development, and construction document control.
- Foster collaboration to improve existing processes and documentation.
- eDMS Support :
- Conduct quality checks and maintenance for gPOR readiness dissemination, including document migration, metadata management, and custom dissemination requests.
- Quality Assurance:
- Assist project TPM in process development and documentation management.
- Test newly designed or modified tools and provide feedback.
- Compile and update lists of documents and statuses for dissemination.
- Conduct routine inspections of documentation compliance.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a construction and/or engineering team demonstrating proficiency in collaboration, solution development, and high-level business operations.
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with SQL, advanced spreadsheet formulas, JavaScript, and/or Google App Script would be advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ideally AODocs.
- Proficiency in gSuite applications (Gmail, Sheets, etc.) and project management tools, preferably Asana and Buganizer.
