Company Secretarial Assistant

Location: This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our or London (Kings Cross) headquarters.
We are seeking a collaborative and proactive Company Secretarial Assistant to join our Group Professional Services function. This role involves supporting the Deputy Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary with the ongoing statutory compliance of UK subsidiaries.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain Group subsidiary company records using EY Legal Entity Management system, ensuring records are up to date and maintained.
- Support external Company Secretarial provider for overseas Group subsidiary companies.
- Provide pro-active and timely Company Secretarial support for group companies including, corporate restructurings, including acquisitions and disposals, strike-offs, dividends and share capital reductions (drafting minutes, resolutions, checking accounts etc).
- Manage the issued share capital spreadsheet, ensure required filings are made with Companies House and Group Finance have up to date information.
- Support the Reward and Pensions teams with the share plans.
About you:
- Experience in global entity management.
- Experience with working with external advisors to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Experience of working for a global group / corporate environment.
- Ability to communicate with all employees, senior management and Board members, ensuring two-way communication of information/data is thoroughly understood.
- Prepared to contribute new and different ways of thinking, be solutions-driven and challenge the status quo.
