About the role

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This role supports activating key Sheraton public space features and programming including the Community Table, Studios, Booths, and the Coffee Bar & More. Specifically, this may include providing guests with access to workspaces, verifying their technical support needs are met, ensuring access to food & beverage, and any other ad-hoc services through seamless coordination with other departments and functions. Tasks also include responding to guest’s requests for professional services (e.g., print shops, graphic designers) by leveraging the property’s Community Management databases, or identifying appropriate providers. This role supports the staffing of events or programming planned in the public space by the Community Management Team. All of these tasks serve to facilitate peak performance and achievement of our guest’s work goals while staying with us. Further, this position aims to elevate and deliver personalized service to guests with a community mindset – all critically important to the values of the Sheraton brand.

 

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:                              High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:     1-year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience:        No supervisory experience.

License or Certification:         None
