What You’ll Do Operational Leadership & Team Development
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of an assigned multifamily community.
- Interview, hire, and train new team members as needed.
- Supervise office and maintenance employees, meeting regularly to guide, coach, and evaluate performance.
- Foster a positive, motivational, and safe work environment.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and address personnel matters proactively.
- Monitor curb appeal and ensure property appearance standards are consistently met.
- Lead rent collection efforts and ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of work orders and make-ready units.
- Maintain strong occupancy levels with competitive rental rates.
- Stay engaged with resident feedback to maintain a positive living experience and a strong property reputation.
- Assist in creating annual operating budgets and preparing monthly variance reports.
- Prepare, review, and monitor operational and financial reports for the Company.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team as needed to support leasing and retention goals.
- Must currently reside in the Dallas region or surrounding areas, with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on-site (with occasional needs outside normal business hours, including weekends or holidays).
- 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager, ideally overseeing larger communities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi.
- Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and demonstrate urgency.
