THE JOB:

As a Club Host at Commonwealth Bar, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience at our nightclub by delivering exceptional service and fostering connections with both current and potential guests. Your efforts in effective networking and relationship building will not only enrich the atmosphere but also drive revenue, all while adhering to the established policies and procedures of MGM Resorts International. Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests!

STARTING RATE: $18.30 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests, check identification, and assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the front door.
• Actively market venue, which includes participating in marketing requirements and outings.
• Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant, bar, and lounge.
• Answer telephone and direct calls where necessary.
• Enforce minimum age requirements and standards of fashionable and acceptable appearance of the guests entering the lounge.
• Responsible for identifying and directing VIP guests as indicated by management and VIP representatives.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention and immediately notify the supervisor if an accident occurs.
• Set stanchions appropriately nightly and for special events held within the Lounge.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms
• Current or previous modeling experience
• Previous marketing experience
• Previous experience using social media platforms, especially with utilization for branding and/or marketing
