What you will do:

• Oversee and foster strong relationships with Internal partners to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual success
• Ensure department readiness and facilitate a smooth ramp-up of production or new business and swings in volume
• Define a comprehensive evaluation framework and conduct regular assessments of inventory and operations process to ensure adherence to quality standards, service levels
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and implement process enhancements, driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct regular reviews with facility leaders around the wire operations
• Develops, plans, organizes, and implements processes to increase operational efficiency and profitability
• Orchestrates operational performance evaluation process, determining and taking corrective action
• Collaborate with the Commodity Sales team around large opportunities and capabilities of the wire operation
• Lead the team of Oceanside and Fullerton wire department associates
• Execute a plan to expand the Oceanside CDC wire department
• Ensure SOPs are followed for meeting continuous improvement initiatives including: On Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, and Inventory accuracy in the Wire Departments
• Manage team members in the creation & execution of action plans and ensure SOPs are updated as process changes within our quality department
• Partner with other Sonepar Operating Companies for collaboration in the successful implementation of strategies & initiatives

 

What you will bring:

• 5 years of strategic wire operations and inventory management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, planning, and verbal and written communication skills
• KPI (Key Performance Indicators) driven
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle shifting priorities and tight timelines

 

Location: This role will be located at our Fullerton location with travel to our Oceanside location on a biweekly basis.

 

Salary Range:

• This exempt position pays between $86,000.00 – $117,532.00. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
