We are now looking for a new Commodity Manager EMEA- Ocean to join our dynamic team in Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia!
As a Commodity Manager EMEA- Ocean, you will provide with technical support in the purchase of commodities, cooperation with the development department in securing new products at the regional level.
What kind of work will you be doing?
• Manage the development of resource strategies in accordance with the company's business plan.
• Develop commodity goals and objectives, manages suppliers and other resources, thus ensuring the fulfillment of the company's goals.
• Provide guidance and advice within its function.
• Manage regional and local commodity strategies.
• Support the market price by increasing the number of projects negotiating more favorable conditions with suppliers.
• Develop a resource strategy for continuous improvement and shortening of the supply chain cycle while maintaining the timely delivery of the finished product to the customer.
• Manage the selection of suppliers (import / export) in accordance with the company's environmental program.
• Evaluate analyzes and recommends changes / improvements to programs and processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the ENPS EMEA supply chain.
• Implement approved recommendations and ensures compliance with all operating procedures and regulations.
• Other responsibilities include: support for regional and local procurement teams, regional logistics.
Required qualifications:
- Education of technical or economic focus in the field of Business Management.
- Required practice: min. 6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, operations.
- Languages: English – fluent
- PC skills: Expert - MS Office.
