In this position, you'll be responsible for managing project technician during all stages of construction and installation, ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operate according to specifications and client requirements.</p> <p>As a<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><strong>Commissioning Technician I</strong>I at ON.energy, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee field installation quality, ensuring electrical and mechanical components meet design specifications.</li> <li>Manage small team of 1-3 technicians to support project initiatives</li> <li>Participate within a culture of safety for all team members, complying with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Lock out tag out (LOTO) programs, maintaining zero recordable injuries.</li> <li>Perform initial power-up and low-voltage testing.</li> <li>Execute system wiring verification, sensor calibration, and communication checks.</li> <li>Assist engineers in functional testing and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Maintain tool and equipment readiness for commissioning tasks.</li> <li>Proficient in the safe use of standard hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, torque tools, etc.) for assembly, installation, and adjustment of equipment.</li> <li>Ability to operate specialized electrical diagnostic tools, including but not limited to digital multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, and other measurement devices commonly used in battery energy storage systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of electrical schematics, power distribut
