Commissioning Supervisor

The Commissioning Supervisor can be an on or offshore position. The supervisor will work together with commissioning resources; this team is commonly known as "the commissioning team" and is tasked to complete all of the commissioning. The commissioning tasks will commence after a hand over of the WTG location from our Installation team.

The Commissioning supervisor will work conjointly with other members of the construction team, in particular the Installation team, QA/QC team as well as with sub-contractors and client construction teams, overseeing that all commissioning tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner.

The supervisor shall take necessary action to comply with Vestas safety and quality standards.

 

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work practice by acting in compliance with Vestas HSE requirements
• Ensure own all PPE checks are done, and monthly check sheets are logged
• Responsible for carrying our NPU and Functional test on Pre-assembly site.
• Daily communication with Deputy Commissioning Manager
• Execute WTG completion and start up
• Troubleshoot, operate and maintain WTGs
• Identify, register and manage deviations
• Maintain turbines and equipment
• Knowledge sharing
• Provide feedback and evaluation
• Help in onboarding new starters

 

Qualifications

• A technical diploma/degree - e.g. electrical or electro-mechanical
• Taiwan Level B technician for interior wiring work (乙級室內配線).
• Experience from the wind industry is beneficial - e.g. with commissioning and troubleshooting
• Great skills in English language - written and spoken.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
