Scope of Position

The position can include assembly, machine work and inspection. This position is in the Commercial Prep Area. The shift for the position is on 2nd shift (3:00 pm -11:30 pm Monday-Friday) with occasional mandatory overtime of 4-12 hours before/after the shift or on weekends depending on staffing needs.

This position is not responsible for any direct reports.

This position reports to the Area Production Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Export, PA. The role is for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm).

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Machine Operation, Assembly, and Inspection
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Area Production Supervisor or Company management.
• Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)
• Travel Requirements: NA

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Experience required in machine operations and setup
• Ability to work periodically mandatory overtime requirements
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, lift test up to 50lbs, and drug screening, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with computer-controlled equipment is highly desired

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Export, PA location. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
• Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
