Commercial Plumbing Estimator

Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a current background in commercial plumbing installation, materials and plumbing code requirements with a proven track record of providing accurate and competitive estimates for various plumbing projects. This position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate and competitive project estimates and change orders of various commercial plumbing projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit plumbing proposals within the scope of commercial service projects under the direction of management
• Review project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements
• Utilize pricing quotes from internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors
• Process a high volume of data entry to maintain and update estimating software and databases
• Continuously apply new knowledge industry trends, materials, and best practices into estimates
• Will be assigned additional clerical duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

• Minimum 3-years' experience in estimating commercial plumbing projects 
• Above average knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods
• Familiarity with local and national plumbing codes and regulations desired
• Proficient utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient alpha-numeric data entry with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
