Commercial Maintenance Technician

Overview

Slosburg Real Property, one of the city’s largest owner-managers of Class A commercial properties, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Commercial Maintenance / Grounds Crew team.

Responsibilities

 

• Complete light maintenance repairs, including basic electrical and plumbing work

• Perform general grounds maintenance

• Weeding, planting, and mulching

• Trash and debris removal

• Light snow removal and sweeping of entryways

• Replace light bulbs and perform routine upkeep

• Respond to maintenance work orders

• Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of commercial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and related mechanical equipment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

• Ability to communicate professionally and work independently is required

• 1–2 years of basic maintenance experience preferred

• Experience with commercial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and related mechanical equipment preferred
• HVAC Certification and/or EPA Certification preferred

• Groundskeeping or landscaping experience is a plus

• Dependable and punctual with the ability to pass a background check

• Must have a reliable vehicle and personal set of tools
