Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…
to join our team as a Commercial Energy Auditor! As a local, on-site representative, you’ll support our programs and represent the company to small business and commercial customers. Your role includes installing energy-efficient equipment, performing energy audits and re-audits, and completing pre- and post-installation verifications, along with other technical data collection within a defined territory.

You’ll also assist Account Managers in engaging stakeholders to support the sale or installation of energy efficiency upgrades or new construction projects. This role involves providing technical advice, training, and guidance to ensure proper installation, adaptation, and configuration of solutions that meet client specifications. You'll troubleshoot technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

Some travel is required, primarily within the state, averaging one trip of 3–5 days per month.

• Proactively seek and secure new clients to drive revenue growth and ensure long-term business success

• Act as a representative for the company and program, engaging with small businesses and commercial customers

• Conduct basic energy audits of smaller scale, less complex commercial buildings

• Install energy-efficient basic measures, including faucet aerators, weatherstrip, thermostats, valve covers.

• Provide technical advice, troubleshoot issues, and support contractors and customers.

• Support Account Managers in encouraging local businesses to participate in energy-saving programs.

• Travel across the defined territory to meet with clients and perform audits

You will have:

• 0-1 year or relevant industry experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving background

• Strong relationship building skills

• Adaptability and flexibility

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

$23-$26/h
