Job Description
Organization & Team Overview
The Comcast device security and content protection platform secures X1, the best entertainment media experience on the market. The Trusted Computing Products team is responsible for all aspects of the architecture, design, development, and operations of the identity provisioning and authentication, content encryption, and DRM license services that back the secure video delivery on Comcast’s X1 platform. Our deliverables include a group of distributed and highly scalable hosted services, as well as client-side and embedded systems work that enables best-in-class video experiences across a diverse set of platforms.
Role Description
We are looking for a science, engineering, or information technology college student that wishes to pursue a career as a Software Engineer. We are looking for candidates that bring curiosity, strong desire to learn, and motivation to see projects to completion.
We are confident that student software engineers on the Trusted Computing Products team would expand their technical background and strengthen their knowledge of computer science fundamentals and software engineering practices.
Job Responsibilities
We support continuous engagement that would empower our science and engineering students to build a rich project portfolio while still in school, a portfolio that could span:
Write software that contributes to mission-critical security services. Implement client-side security libraries for diverse device population (embedded, mobile, and desktop). Build test and deployment automation that powers CI/CD pipelines. Integrate AI/ML toolchains and structured data backends for deployment automation, software validation, system health analysis, error discovery, classification and remediation.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs.
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering).
