The intern will play a crucial role in assisting our account management team with various administrative and project management tasks. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT services environment, learn about project and service management, and contribute to the optimization of our operations.

Location: Remote, with on-site visits to support the Cone Health account in Greensboro, NC and Tempo headquarters in Brentwood, TN.
 

About Us: Tempo Technology Services is a leading IT consulting, project management, and outsourcing company, specializing in providing comprehensive IT support services within the healthcare sector. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to join our team for the summer, with a focus on supporting our Cone Health account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking travel, expenses, and budget related to Tempo Technology Services' support for the Cone Health account.
• Support the account team in preparing new proposals and providing updates to the Staff Open Position tracking spreadsheet.
• Coordinate schedules between our team and the account client, ensuring efficient communication and planning.
• Assist in meeting preparations, including setting up virtual meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the account management team, contributing to various projects and initiatives.
• Assist within the Account PMO and the related Optimization Office duties and administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tasks and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in business, IT, or a related field.
• Prior experience or coursework in project management, business administration, or IT services is a plus.
