Co-Op - Manufacturing-to-Design (Fall '24)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing-to-design process/system landscape
• Research tools for organic feedback (e.g., SAP to PTC tools like Windchill/CREO)
• Execute basic Digital projects, involving coding when necessary
• Grasp PFMEA/DFMEA methodologies
• Implement solutions per Schaeffler Project Management methodology

Your Qualifications

Minimum:

• Current student pursuing Bachelor/ Master's degree in Mechanical or Software Engineering
• Proficient in basic digital concepts
• Acquired foundational experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
• Skilled in coding
• Experienced in utilizing DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodologies
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship 

 

Preferred:

• Conducted basic research and development (R&D) using tools such as Windchill and CREO
• Computational Engineering
• SAP experience
