Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Java Software Engineer to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland location.   

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to demonstrate solid knowledge of Java 8 or higher.

• Experience in Business Analytics application, support, and troubleshooting concepts

• Performing system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system.

• Researching requirements for a product, including target CNO environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.

• Designing ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).

• Determining computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming.

• Ensuring software standards are met.

• Modifying existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new requirements, or to improve performance.

• Debugging and troubleshooting software

• Performing quality control on team products.

• Coordinating and performing software deployments for developed products.

• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior software developers

Minimum Qualifications:

• 20 years of programming required (with a Bachelor's degree) or, in lieu of a degree, 24 years of programming experience

• Experience with build environments such as Gradle or Maven

• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes and systems

• Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design

• Familiarity with Software Version Control

• Knowledge of CNO environment

• Knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of agile software development methodology

• Knowledge of XML or XSLT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spring Cloud

• Spring Boot

• Kafka

• Subversion/GIT experience

• Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Crucible)

• Experience using VMWare, preferably ESX

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes

Clearance Requirements:

• Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph
