CNO Analyst/Programmer 1

Individual(s) assigned to this category shall be responsible primarily for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems. The candidate shall translate detailed designs into computer software, prepare detailed flowcharts, develop code, and document, and test software. Duties may include creating or modifying administrative scientific, or system software on centralized and distributed systems and finding/fixing software defects in existing code. Duties may also include software test design, test data acquisition and analysis, and test result analysis and reporting.

Capabilities

• Support custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques
• Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed
• Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the software development procedures and processes

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Degree must be in the field of computer science, information systems, or network engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
• Minimum 1 year experience in Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments and/or UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments

Required Skills

• Thorough C/C++ Development skills
• Experience with Networks; Experience with IPv4 Protocol and Networking
• Can work well with a TEAM
• Experience with Python
