About the role

If you are a sharp, experienced software engineer with a desire to be a leader in delivering the next generation of Blink products, we want to talk with you. In this role you will be part of a group of developers that are responsible for the Cloud Services that enable the Blink product line. You will design and implement new back end services/features and you will interact with the other software teams at Blink and across the rest of Amazon. Most importantly, you will focus on the best ways to delight our customers.

The Role:
Design, develop and implement Cloud services that enable the Blink suite of products
Lead regular system architecture, software design, patent filing, and interview cycles
Interact with other teams across Blink and Amazon to ensure product quality and cohesiveness
Work closely with our marketing and customer support teams to discover new ways to delight the customer


We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

North Reading, MA, USA

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
