Cloud Platform Engineer

You will be a member of the Platform Engineering Organization, which is responsible for the software and infrastructure management focusing on availability, performance and security of core service layers supporting our payments platform and practice management software.&nbsp; We serve over 200,000 legal professionals and process over $18 billion in payments every year!&nbsp; You will work closely with our development teams to ensure they have the tools needed to build, test, and deploy code with ease and ensure software and quality engineer success. You will engineer and maintain configuration management environments, software delivery pipelines, IaC processes, technical governance and observability tools among other areas of platform availability.</p> <p><em>This role is hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) partner in the Czech Republic.</em></p> <p><strong>About us:</strong></p> <p>8am builds software that helps professionals run stronger businesses. As we continue to grow, we’re investing in the next generation of our platform and are looking for experienced engineers who want to help shape its future.</strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Automate deployment, monitoring, and management for 100% AWS cloud based infrastructure</li> <li>Develop, implement and own developer focused internal tooling and automation as your product</li> <li>Share in new feature design as the cloud SME supporting container/k8s first designs</li> <li>Create and maintain automated Ci/CD pipelines that streamline the release process and ensure high-quality code is delivered rapidly and continuously in a safe and compliant manner</li> <li>Develop, manage and enhance the Internal Developer and Production Platforms achieving maximum availability and stability metrics</li> <li>Collaborate with developers to identify pain points and bottlenecks in the development process and design and implement solutions that improve the developer experience and increase overall productivity</li> <
