Cloud Operations Engineer III

We're looking for an experienced and delivery-focused Cloud Operations Engineer III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our public and private cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with other Engineering teams to implement, manage, and optimize cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs.

What You Will Do:

• Managing and maintaining public and private cloud infrastructure and services, including virtual servers, storage resources, and serverless functions.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implementing and managing cloud security measures, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption methods.
• Designing and implementing automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborating with development teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
• Conducting backups, disaster recovery testing, and data migration tasks.
• Staying up-to-date with public and private cloud good practices and new features.
• Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams on cloud infrastructure-related issues.

You Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in an IT role or commensurate skills, with 1+ years proven experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or similar.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying Infrastructure-as-Code using standard CI/CD toolsets.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure services such as EC2/AVM, S3/Blob, EBS/Disk, VPC/VNET, Lambda/Functions, and IAM/AD.
• Experience with languages such as Terraform, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and build tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPNs.
• Experience with datacenter virtualization, storage and backup solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals.

• Advanced certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
