Cloud Architect

This is a remote position.

• Lead and coordinate a team of 3 coders (including yourself) for maintaining and refactoring Terraform/PowerShell code for Azure Landing Zone.
  
• Collaborate with bank architects and managers to ensure seamless integration and cooperation.
  
• Maintain and enhance the structure and readability of Terraform code, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  
• Develop and refactor Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to optimise performance, readability, and manageability.
  
• Ensure the code is up to date with new versions and releases, especially in context of Terraform and PowerShell.
  
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure errors in Azure caused by Terraform configuration, fixing bugs and improving code reliability.
  
• Maintain the Azure Landing Zone platform in compliance with security, monitoring, identity management, and cost control requirements.
  
• Develop new functionalities and code for deploying new Azure services, integrating external tools, or optimising existing resources.
  
• Manage version control and documentation of Terraform code, ensuring a clear change history.
  
• Provide technical support and share knowledge with Bank engineers, architects, and system administrators.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably with Azure.
  
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform deployments and management in production environments.
  
• Proficiency in Azure services and resources, including Kubernetes Services, SQL Databases, and Containers.
  
• Strong expertise in Terraform for IaC management.
  
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, automation, and version control.
  
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Azure resource management and automation tasks.
  
• Experience with JSON and YAML.
  
• Fluent in Polish and English.
  
• Relevant certifications: Azure Solution Architect Expert, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
