Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday 10:30 AM-Close (8:30 PM/9:30 PM)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all routes have been completed in order management system daily
- Perform daily audit of deivery tickets for signatures, confirm all product on driver inventory log is accurate, appropriate service codes applied to orders, confirm all delivery exceptions have been notated and communicated appropriately.
- Handle all shift escalated issues daily and assist in any escalated from shift exchange.
- Assist in keeping facility clean and floor free of debris.
- Control, order and monitor part inventory and give an accurate twice monthly report of all material utilizing parts management system
- Ensuring rescheduling orders as needed at the before closing shift
- Claims Management: Initiate call to schedule site visits with claimants and upload photos/notes in claims management system as needed
- Monitoring routes to ensure daily route are completed timely
- Contact MC routes confirmation for next day routes are completed daily
- Assist with tasks assigned by the Operations Manager
- Attend Department Meetings to remain aware of business plans and their effect on operations
- Assign daily workload to shift employees and ensure they are being completed
- Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of applicants
- Ensure that Company policies are adhered to, such as uniform and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Processing administrative task in Workday to keep employee records up to date
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the transportation, logistics, or related industry required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Operates with a customer service mentality. Ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility and patience. Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation. Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write English to understand and give directions, and to complete paperwork accurately. Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment as dictated by the duties of the job and perform data entry and typing functions.
