The Clinical Nutrition Manager will conduct patient consultations in accordance with applicable regulations, risk screening, and facility protocols, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary care team, ensure nutrition orders are properly implemented, and conduct clinical audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Area of Responsibilities
- Implement clinical strategy following current evidence based MNT practices
- Assist foodservice team in the production of a quality dining experience that exceeds customer expectations through training, education, and auditing.
- Maintain positive relationships with the multidisciplinary careteam, family members, and residents to support CSG’s goal of becoming the most trusted provider of dining and nutrition services.
- Provide leadership and support to Registered Dietitians and Certified Dietary Managers to ensure clinical strategy is implemented to the highest degree.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each key area of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- 1-2 years of professional dietetics experience
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidenced based treatment practices
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and be licensed in the state(s) of service preferred and may be required.
- Employment candidates for this position must have authorization to work in the United States, pass a background check, and meet any other checks/qualifications required by client/facility, or other statutory requirements.
- Due to the nature of our business, team members must be able to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, holidays, and weekends)
