Job Description
Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Nurse who will work closely with our structural heart Nurse Practitioner and Interventional cardiologists to provide quality care to patients undergoing procedures such as TAVR, Mitra Clip, PFO/ASD, and Watchman devices.
Responsibilities can include: Screen and document new referrals, assist with obtaining pre-op clearance from outside providers, patient and family education, coordination of surgical planning with the team, documentation of post-op calls, and maintaining registry requirements and outcomes.
Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s preferred (or in progress).
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- 1 year of care coordination and/or cardiology RN experience preferred
- Current Maryland Nursing License
- (Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland is Required)
- Care Management Certification, preferred
- BLS, Required
