Boone Memorial Health is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Clinical Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join our team. This role supports the technical infrastructure of our clinical software systems, including CPSI, Medhost, Microsoft, and Linux. The ideal candidate will provide software training and troubleshooting support, assist with implementation and maintenance, and work directly with clinical and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of critical systems.

Qualifications
Preferred Experience and Skills:

Familiarity with clinical software such as CPSI, Medhost, Microsoft, and Linux

Experience providing end-user support and training

Understanding of healthcare workflows and software security standards

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Previous work in healthcare IT or a related technical support environment

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

Skilled at documenting processes, writing reports, and communicating with vendors and leadership
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and software support to hospital staff

Train and support end users on CPSI and Medhost systems

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues both remotely and in-person

Maintain security access and assist with onboarding new providers

Install and configure software programs

Create and maintain documentation for software builds and processes

Communicate effectively with software vendors regarding system concerns

Assist with ongoing implementation and system upgrades

Support hospital staff by responding to software-related questions and concerns
