Sodexo seeks a Dietitian Nutritionist I to provide inpatient nutrition care at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, a670-750 bed facility in Fayetteville,  North Carolina. Today, it is a robust health system specializing in cardiac care, cancer treatment and surgical services as well as neuroscience, pediatrics, rehabilitation, orthopedics and more.

What You'll Do

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with 0-3 years of experience
• Have strong leadership skills, time management, and organizational skills
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Work weekend and holiday rotation
• Have North Carolina State licensure.
• Have their Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
