Cardiovascular Clinical Coordinator - Nursing - day shift, full-time

Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Clinical Coordinator maintains accountability for the clinical management functions, as well as monitoring and evaluation activities pertinent to the operations of the unit, in compliance with regulatory standards. Emphasis is on the provision and supervision of direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients. Care may be rendered to individuals in a wide range of ages including adolescents and adults through individual and group counseling sessions. Is responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing practice for managing/overseeing the care and services by professionals and ancillary personnel. Works collaboratively with patients, physicians, interdepartmental personnel to achieve patient goals.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Graduate of an accredit school of nursing
• BSN or higher strongly preferred
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications

Certification/License:

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• BCLS Certification Required
