Job Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator assists with directing the clinical delivery of medical care and serves as a liaison coordinating activities and operations between providers, mid-office staff, and management. The Clinical Coordinator is involved in providing clinically relevant provider education, training, and process improvement and mentoring and management of the provider group within the assigned region.
1 vacancy is open for this position in the Central region. The five clinics within the Central region that a candidate will need to be comfortable commuting to as scheduled: Downtown at the Heights, MLK, Dale Mabry, Westchase, and Carrollwood.

RequirementsJob Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clinical Outcomes team to provide and oversee provider training and remediation.
- Assist the Clinical Director and Medical Director in the supervision, and management of clinical aspects of clinics within assigned region.
- Rotate once per month and as needed to each clinic within assigned region.
- Coordinate with regional supervisor and Clinical Outcomes department to discuss mid-office trainee progress as needed.
- Complete monthly clinical checks and report results to the COQA Department
- Complete monthly and as-needed Proficient Rx inventory.
- Build and maintain monthly provider schedules for assigned regions.
- Implement and enforce schedule and staffing policies.
- Collaborate with Clinical Management Team to respond to staffing issues.
- Make recommendations for the improvement of medical policy, clinical criteria, and administrative policies.
- Provide individualized provider clinical training and supervision as needed.
- Provider and document regular Professional Growth Reviews with providers in assigned region.
- Serve as a liaison with providers, mid-office staff, and regional office supervisor of assigned region.
- Assist to monitor and collate compliance with licensing certification, and accrediting bodies.
- Assist to develop relationships with sources for physician and APP candidates.
- Assist to supervise providers in compliance with state regulations.
- Assist to improve workflow of EMR standardization, templates, and treatments.
- Serve as a surrogate spokesperson for TGH Urgent Care within the organization and with other providers and organizations within the community.
- Advocate for enhanced community relations through involvement in local and regional activities.
- Assist to provide training and on-boarding of new providers and staff.
- Provide re-training and remediation of providers and/or mid-office, when applicable, in clinical skills, medical documentation, procedural skills, and billing/coding.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position assists with the supervision of providers in the assigned locations
- Reports to Clinical Director and CMO
Work Conditions and Schedule:
- This job operates in a professional medical environment
- This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment
- Mon-Sun, 7:45am-8pm on a flexible scheduling basis (incl. weekends and holidays)
- Requires traveling to locations within the assigned region and off-site locations as needed
- Hours as outlined in clinician contracts
