ABOUT THE JOB
The Clinical Operations Consultant will serve as the primary analytics business partner to the Clinical Operations organization. The Consultant works side-by-side with clinical and business leaders to stay close to frontline needs, surface high-impact opportunities, and ensure analytics efforts are aligned with operational and company objectives.
This role is responsible for developing a shared analytics and reporting roadmap aligned with Clinical Operations' strategic priorities and for shepherding these priorities through the analytics organization—from intake and specification to build, validation, and deployment. The Consultant plays a key role in accelerating the availability of trusted data, reports, and insights for clinical and business stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand operational reporting needs regarding all aspects of the Marathon Health business and products lines.
- Develops reporting to enhance our ability to understand and act upon clinical, financial, and engagement and clinical workflow outcomes.
- Creates and proposes strategies for service optimization using data driven analysis.
- Assists teams in creating reporting resources and datasets that are well-designed, easily maintained, and repeatable for leaderships teams to utilize.
- Produce clear and concise summaries of analytical findings for easy consumption by a variety of audiences throughout Marathon Health.
- Responsible for internal reporting as well as ad-hoc data queries and proactive analysis to help support our clients and internal teams in effective decision-making.
- Analyze internal clinical data and provide recommendations to drive improvements.
- Document EMR process flows and create standard operation procedures for reporting and clinical team workflows.
- QA of data produced. Acting as the primary liaison between Clinical Operations and the Analytics team, ensuring alignment on reporting and analytical needs and driving timely execution of key initiatives.
- Leading the end-to-end development of reports and dashboards—from gathering business requirements and developing specifications to partnering on build, validation, and release—leveraging data from the enterprise data warehouse (EDW).
- Conducting ongoing analysis of clinical operations performance, including clinic- and provider-level KPIs, service delivery, access, quality, and safety metrics.
- Using strong analytical approaches to frame business problems, investigate trends, test hypotheses, and generate actionable insights that support performance improvement.
- Presenting both reports and analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels, highlighting trends, identifying root causes, and recommending data-driven actions.
- Monitoring key operational metrics and summarizing trends for internal teams, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, improved care delivery, and better patient outcomes.
- Promoting data integrity by ensuring all reporting and analysis is derived from a single source of truth and aligned with enterprise data governance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 7 years’ experience working in healthcare with various forms of analytical and statistical models, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
