About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Aid to join our team. This opportunity provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pediatric therapy setting. The aid will assist the Clinic Manager with administrative duties, support clinic operations, and have the opportunity to shadow our therapy professionals. This role is ideal for students pursuing a career in pediatric therapy, healthcare administration, or related fields.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shadowing and Learning:
- Shadow speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and ABA therapists during therapy sessions.
- Observe and learn about various therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to gain a deeper understanding of pediatric therapy practices.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist the Clinic Manager with daily administrative tasks and projects.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic planning and organization.
- Clinic Operations:
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms and common areas.
- Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in a related field (e.g., Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Healthcare Administration).
- Strong interest in pediatric therapy and a desire to learn about different therapeutic disciplines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus, but not required

- Monday – Friday: TBD
- Aurora and Colorado Springs, CO
- July 1 – August 16th
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18/hour

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
