About the role

The department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a Clinic Assistant. 


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Obtain and set up refreshments and supplies for clinic, greet study participants and assign them to examination rooms.
  • Log participants onto computerized survey.
  • Obtain informed consent per protocol.
  • Dispense participant stipends, schedule follow-up appointments, clean up after clinic visits and make reminder calls to participants.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must complete and pass various research and HIPAA classes.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

Role/Level/Range: ATO 40/E/02/OC  
Starting Salary Range: Min $15.50 - Max $25.00 HRLY ($41,392 budgeted; Commensurate with experience) 
Employee group: Casual / On Call 
Schedule: Tuesday, Friday and one Saturday month 5pm-9pm 
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
