Salary: Competitive
Aviva are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. Our team are largely based in London, though we are spread throughout the UK, and we are looking for CRMs who can help us to service our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious individuals with an interest in developing, implementing, and managing creative business solutions for our clients. The roles offer opportunity for networking, career progression and fantastic professional development. You will be joining an established, successful, and supportive Global Corporate and Specialty CRM team, as we continue to expand & develop our CRM proposition.
A bit about the job:
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will take accountability for client and broker-facing relationships and negotiations in support of your GCS clients (large corporates).
You will work with underwriting, claims, and risk engineering colleagues to scope and design bespoke insurance solutions tailored to the needs of each of your individual clients, taking responsibility for the delivery of our service from initial design through to external negotiation, client presentations, corporate hospitality and long-term relationship management. As well as wider involvement in the design and implementation of cross sell initiatives, and innovation of our client propositions.
You will need a strong understanding of commercial insurance, ability to network and confident negotiating skills. You will be expected to travel to broker and client meetings locally or further afield (UK only travel).
As a senior member of the team, you will play a leading role in developing, testing, and refining our proposition and in supporting, developing, and coaching other team members. You’ll be a proficient deal maker, seeking out and exploring new collaboration opportunities within Sales & Distribution. We’re looking for someone who will pioneer and support the development of CRM processes, training, capabilities, and bespoke client propositions, creating thoughtful and relevant agendas and thought leadership.
In facilitating and supporting corporate hospitality, we need someone who is happy to share responsibility for the delivery of a first-class event programme. Finally, it will be important to establish and maintain relationships across the Aviva group composite (healthcare, group protection, pensions etc).
If you are ready for the challenge, then we would love to hear from you.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Previous experience within the general insurance industry.
- Highly motivated, collaborative team player with a ‘can do’, winning mentality who can take ownership and responsibility, strong professional pride, and integrity.
- A natural problem solver, happy to challenge the status quo with strong rapport building and relationship management skills.
- Confident to present, influence and network, internally and externally with the ability to multitask across a number of different clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong data management skills.
