Job Description

Amplify, an Ovation Healthcare company is seeking strong Client Operations Insurance Team Lead will have a demonstrated record of accuracy and efficiency and must be proficient in their knowledge of billing regulations, claim form requirements and appeal processes for government or non-government payer sources.

 The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Hospital/Collections or Medical Billing: 3+ years (Preferred)
  • Team Lead/Supervisory Experience: 2+ years (Preferred)
  • Work from Home Position Requires Reliable High Speed Internet Connection

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working in teams or independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with willingness to undertake varied tasks.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations in regard to patient information and permissible disclosures.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Must adapt and demonstrate the ability to work independently from home in a fast-paced, changing and goal-oriented environment.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure team completes the filing of all unbilled insurance accounts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all accounts are in the correct location based on the age of the account and statused according to action needed or pending action.
  • Ensure all filed insurance claims are followed up on timely according to department guidelines.
  • Oversees insurance teams daily productivity and QA meet KPI goals. 
  • Anticipate (troubleshoot) problems that may be encountered and bring them to leadership's attention.
  • Act as communication channel for insurance reps and serves as first POC for workflow and billing questions.
  • Responsible for quality and training for all insurance reps.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date Wiki information, processes, and procedures.  Review quarterly for effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions and redefined priorities.
  • Provide Out of Guideline reporting daily as assigned.
  • All work standards not completed shall be reported to the Manager one hour prior to leaving for the day.
  • Ability to give/receive complex verbal and written instructions to/from coworkers and clients/insurance payers.
  • Complete the filing of all unbilled insurance accounts in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
