About the role

Introduction to Role:

Join our dynamic Operations team at AstraZeneca as a Cleaning Crew Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to pioneer a Lean mindset, driving greater quality and safety in our Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing facilities.

Accountabilities:

As a Cleaning Crew Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating cleaning activities around ongoing manufacturing activities, reviewing cleaning records, maintaining GMP documentation, and communicating with cross-functional levels. You will also monitor, clean, and prepare in Grades A, B, and C cleanroom environments. Additionally, you will support maintaining strong relationships with third-party vendors that provide gowning supplies and adjust your work schedule to support weekend and holiday processes as required.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- High School Diploma

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a cGMP environment

- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work night shifts in 2025

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Previous manufacturing or process development experience with cell therapy or vector products including aseptic technique

- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis

- Dynamic individual with the ability to communicate and engage others

- Independent and self-starting. Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to change ways of working/identify opportunities to improve processes within the cGMP clinical manufacturing environment
