PCD’s family of programs includes: an Approved Private Special Education School, Early Intervention Program, Early Childhood Program, Private Therapies, Regional Consultation Program, and Toddler Playgroups.
The Job
The Anderson School, our oldest program, located in Andover, MA, is looking for a caring and dedicated Classroom Nurse to work on a Monday-Friday basis from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. The school’s program supports students ages 3-12 with multiple disabilities, moderate to severe developmental delays, and complex medical needs. The Classroom Nurse will provide support will provide comprehensive educational and therapeutic nursing care and support for students ages 3-12 with Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to G-tube feeding, suctioning, medication and oxygen administration, on-going monitoring of health and medical status of the student, and the ability to respond in the event of a medical emergency during hours of work.

Requirements
- R.N. degree with a current MA license.
- Pediatric work experience with special needs children 3-12 years of age is preferred.
- Experience working in an education setting is also a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use technology effectively.
- Suitable background check.
- Mostly active - must be able to sit, bend, kneel and lift 25 lbs.
