Class A CDL Local Intermodal Driver

We are currently looking for qualified drivers who have at least 6 months of verifiable driving experience to manage our intermodal account in the dynamic city of Chicago, IL. This position includes the exceptional advantage of 100% No Touch Freight. Moreover, you will benefit from daily home time, enabling you to return home to your family and rejuvenate each day!

• Driving lane covers the North Central Region
• Involves multiple stops in intermodal trailers
• Day and night driving will be required
• 5-day work week with 2 days off and HOME DAILY!!!
• Day and night shifts are available
• Approximately 1800 miles driven weekly
• Operations run 7 days a week, so weekend work will be needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months’ recent CDL experience.
• Must have fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, major tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.
• Cannot have been terminated from last job.
• No DUI's Felonies, Misdemeanors in the last 5 years.  All criminal records are reviewed by safety.
• Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training. 6 months in the last year and 1 year in the last 3 years max.
• Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
• Must live within 25 miles of Chicago, IL

Benefits

• Pay is .62 mile
• Night differential of .06 per mile.  Weekend differential of .12 per mile.
• $20 per loaded dispatch.
• $1200 week average
