Required Experience:4-7 years of experience in either water and sewer design or transportation designProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred for respective positionsWSSC (Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission) experience preferred for water and sewer design positionBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Job Description: We are currently seeking two experienced Civil Project Engineers/Designers to join our team in Baltimore, MD, and Lanham, MD. These positions offer an opportunity to work on diverse civil engineering projects, including water and sewer systems or transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidates will have 4-7 years of experience in their respective fields and possess strong technical skills in design and project management.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, design, and construction phasesConduct site visits, field surveys, and assessments to gather necessary data and informationPrepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD softwarePerform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for water and sewer systems or transportation projectsCoordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and regulatory compliance is maintainedProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as needed
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field4-7 years of experience in water and sewer design or transportation designProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred for respective positionsWSSC experience preferred for water and sewer design positionProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStationStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
