Child Development Aide Full Time

Summary

Job Description:

This position exists to aid the lead teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that will meet the children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs

Essential Duties :

• Assist in during mealtimes.
• Make meals a pleasant learning experience.
• Model good health practices.
• Assist as needed to avoid the spread of infectious disease.
• Sanitize indoor and outdoor areas as needed to provide a safe environment.
• Keep the rooms neat, cheerful, and interesting.
• Take out trash and dirty laundry when needed.

Requirements:

• High School /GED
• 1-3 years preferred experience in a structured setting [referred
• Fifteen (15) hours annual training as approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers.
