Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary, people-first Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and integrate both financial and human resources operations at Community Impact. This executive will be pivotal in driving both business performance and organizational culture, ensuring that every decision supports sustainable growth while protecting and nurturing our people and values.

The ideal candidate will be a steward of both financial excellence and a positive, thriving workplace, embodying our core values in all areas of leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial and HR Leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive financial and HR strategies that support Community Impact's long-term objectives and culture.

Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on all financial and people-related matters.

Lead enterprise risk management processes to safeguard assets, reputation, and employee trust.

Evaluate and execute investment opportunities that align with business and organizational growth goals.

Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with an integrated approach that accounts for both fiscal health and workforce needs.

Provide transparent and inspiring financial and HR reporting to ownership, leadership, and the full organization.


Human Resources Ownership:

Lead the full Human Resources function, ensuring it supports and strengthens Community Impact’s people-first culture.

Champion talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention strategies, and succession planning.

Oversee the design and execution of robust onboarding programs that ensure every new team member feels welcomed, equipped, and aligned with Community Impact’s mission and values.

Lead training and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and leadership development across all levels of the organization.

Oversee compensation, benefits, and reward systems to attract and retain top talent.

Develop, communicate, and enforce employment policies that ensure compliance while fostering a vibrant, ethical workplace culture.

Inspire continuous professional development and provide career pathing opportunities to maximize employee satisfaction and organizational strength.

Serve as a visible champion of diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.


Operational and Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor, and grow high-performing finance and HR teams, setting a clear vision and shared goals.

Refine operational processes and systems to enhance organizational efficiency and employee experience.

Foster a high-performance culture through meaningful feedback, goal setting, and leadership development.

Regularly communicate updates on financial and HR initiatives during all-staff meetings, ensuring transparency and building trust across the organization.


Qualifications:

Proven success as a CFO or senior financial executive with direct HR leadership responsibilities.

Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or certifications such as CPA, CMA, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Deep expertise in financial management, corporate financial law, risk management practices, and strategic HR planning.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for people, culture, and values.
