Chief Financial Officer

At Measurabl, The Chief Financial Officer is an important strategic leader within the organization and is responsible for managing the allocation of financial resources and human capital across the organization, identifying and managing business risks, and providing strategic direction over business/pricing model. The CFO will closely partner with the CEO and COO to secure debt and equity capital to ensure the long-term viability of the business.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Strategic Leadership:

• Active engagement and partnership with both the executive team and senior leadership team to direct and guide the business to the successful execution of business results and initiatives via honest, open, and transparent communication.
• Manage relationships and communications with existing capital providers including investors and lenders.
• Meet with prospective investors and communicate our vision for growth, clearly articulating the underlying drivers of growth and larger market opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial results and projections as well as legal compliance matters to the Board of Directors.

Financial Oversight:

• Oversight of Finance and Accounting teams.
• Strategic direction/decision-making regarding financial resources to ensure an appropriate balance of growth investments and capital efficiency.
• Monitor cash burn, runway, and scenarios.
• Communicate cash position and strategy to the Executive team, Board of Directors, and staff as necessary.
• Oversight of corporate budgeting, annual audit and issuance of financial statements, and tax planning and reporting.
• Ensure financial systems and processes and the control environment facilitate timely administration of business needs and accurate financial reporting.

Legal Oversight:

• Oversight of internal Legal team and external legal counsel.
• Partner with Sales and Expansion teams to strategize deal mechanics and review and approve non-standard pricing and contractual terms.
• Oversee contract negotiations and final execution of all customer sales contracts.
• Oversight and execution of fundraising, debt, and purchase and sales agreements.
• Oversight and coordination with external counsel on corporate and other general legal matters.

People Leadership:

• Drive engagement and performance through hands-on leadership, 1:1’s, department meetings, performance management programs, engagement programs, or other programs as needed.
• Ensure effective communication throughout the department to ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and alignment with company goals.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to department leaders and team members to drive cultural initiatives forward and encourage behaviors and programs aligned with Measurabl’s values.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other managers to ensure leadership standards are shared throughout the organization.
• Drive Measurabl’s commitment to ensuring a diverse workforce through all stages of people management and development.
