Overview

 

The Chief Digital Health & Analytics Officer (CDHAO) collaborates across the enterprise to drive Cone Health's relentless pursuit of better health through a data-driven transformation and digital health solutions that improve health outcomes and accelerate Cone Health's value-based journey.This role creates, maintains and evolves Cone Health's digital health and analytics strategies in support of the business goals through data-driven digital-enabled transformation across the enterprise and within business processes. Building on Cone Health's commitment to delivering outstanding care in their community, the CDHAO guides the company?s on-going transformational journey and is an evangelist internally and externally for Cone Health?s vision on how best to use data and digital health technologies to improve care and clinical outcomes, enhance both patient and care team experiences, and drive a culture of continuous improvement through consistent performance measurement. As a member of the VBI leadership team reporting to the EVP, the CDHAO works in partnership with ITS leadership, senior leadership, stakeholders, and operational leaders and team members across the enterprise.The CDHAO guides the identification and implementation of analytic and digital health solutions and potential partnerships that enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and position Cone Health and the VBI as leaders in transforming the delivery of services that improve health. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong technical and analytical skills, exceptional strategic thinking, an ability to support change, and a passion for leveraging innovation, data, and technology to deliver transformative people-centric change.

Responsibilities

 

 Digital Health and Analytics Strategieso Create a vision for the enterprise and identifies opportunities for differentiating digital health and analytics capabilities and solutions. Establishes and champions a data-informed culture into all aspects of the business. Accelerates the enterprise?s value-based care transformation.o Develop and execute a comprehensive digital health and analytics roadmap that is grounded in outstanding patient care while embracing innovation, analytics, and technology as critical components of success.o Lead the identification, prioritization, and adoption of digital health and analytics innovations that enhance patient care, patient experiences, engagement, and clinical outcomes while improving team member experiences, optimizing operational processes and strengthening financial performance.o Identify emerging trends, disruptive operating models, technologies, and industry best practices that inform the digital health and analytics strategies.o Collaborate closely with leadership to align the digital health and analytics strategies with organizational goals and objectives.o Monitor and assess the progress of initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful implementation.Digital Health Strategyo Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital health strategy aligned with the goals and objectives of Cone Health and its strategic priorities. o Ensure alignment with value-based care principles and objectives, focusing on improving patient outcomes, improving health equity and access, enhancing care delivery efficiency, and reducing total costs of care.o Develop a sustainable and scalable digital health ecosystem that can adapt to evolving healthcare trends, technological advancements, and organizational needs over time.o Participate and provide leadership in the identification, prioritization, and adoption of digital health technologies, tools, and innovations.o Define clear and measurable goals and objectives for the digital health strategy that are aligned with the organization?s mission, vision, and strategic priorities.o Ensure long-term financial viability and return on investment (ROI) in digital health initiatives through cost-benefit analysis, revenue generation opportunities (such as venture partnerships or commercialization), and value-based payment models.Analytics Insights, Data Literacy, and Adoptiono Oversee and drive innovation in enterprise data analytics strategies, operations, and services, including methodologies and technologies.o Establish and foster a data-informed mindset, culture, and approach across the enterprise.o Develop strategies that position the organization as a leader in the rapidly evolving areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence use in the healthcare industry.o Leverage data and analytics insights to identify untapped opportunities and potential areas for disruption through innovation and technology.o Champion analytic methodologies and approaches to enable rapid adoption while recognizing the challenges of scaling solutions across the organization.
