we are looking for you as a(n) Chemical Operator - Infrastructure 1.

Job Responsibilities:
- Follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety, and quality.
- Monitor the DCS (Distributed control system).
- Operate wastewater systems, storm water and sanitary networks.
- Monitor and comply with environmental regulations and permits, maintain records and documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot the following systems: wastewater, storm and sanitary networks, steam, condensate and boilers, cooling water, industrial/fire water, potable water, compressed air, nitrogen and hydrogen.
- Assist with equipment cleaning operations as necessary.
- Perform analytical testing to support operations and regulatory requirements.
- Cooperate with other qualified staff in scheduling and coordinating servicing, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications Required:
- Ability to monitor and prioritize response to issues in multiple places.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID drawings to find valves and other equipment in the field.
- Ability to read and understand purge plan drawn on P&ID's.
- Must have either 5+ years' experience as a chemical operator OR Associates degree in a technical or mathematical field OR be enrolled in the WACKER Technical Operator Development Program(Trainee role).
- Completion of the Chemical Operator program at Chattanooga State preferred.
