About the Role

We are looking to hire Chartered Accountants
with 8-10+yrs years of experience
to support global accounting functions. This role focuses on enhancing financial data accuracy, driving process standardization, and ensuring system readiness across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

Financial Data Review & Accuracy

• Examine, verify, cleanse, and reconcile financial records such as trial balances, general ledgers, invoices, tax data, and bank statements to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Assist in preparing data mappings, coding frameworks, and aligning financial data for system enhancements and standardized reporting.
• Take part in system testing and work closely with senior accountants and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inconsistencies.

Process Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination

• Capture and document current accounting processes, controls, and reporting needs to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, tax, and audit teams across geographies to gather requirements, align deliverables, and share updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails to support compliance requirements and future audits.

Data Validation, Reporting & System Support

• Support validation of financial data across systems by reconciling reports such as trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business, reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in identifying and addressing discrepancies that impact reporting accuracy and workflow efficiency.
