Manager, Revenue Talent Development

A Brief Overview
TriNet is seeking a results-driven, hands-on leader to recruit, coach, and develop Associate Sales Consultants (ASCs) through our flagship Ascend Program. This role is critical to building a scalable, diverse sales talent pipeline and accelerating readiness for promotion into field Sales Consultant roles.

As Manager, Revenue Talent Development, you will lead high-performing ASC cohorts, drive sales capability development, and partner closely with Field Sales leaders to ensure ASCs are delivering meaningful value to the business while preparing for their next career step.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building high-performing teams, and are energized by coaching and developing early-career sales talent, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do:

Recruitment & Talent Pipeline

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, early-career programs, and strategic partners to attract diverse, high-quality ASC candidates.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for multiple ASC cohorts annually, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring recommendations.
  • Serve as a program ambassador, promoting Ascend internally and externally as a premier early-career sales development program.
  • Onboard, coach, and mentor ASCs to develop consultative selling skills, product expertise, and consistent sales habits.
  • Facilitate regular 1:1s and team meetings to reinforce priorities, inspect performance, and deliver timely, actionable feedback.
  • Create an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture that promotes learning, accountability, and engagement.
  • Develop individualized growth and development plans, with a strong focus on readiness for promotion into field Sales Consultant roles.
  • Lead formal training sessions, workshops, and skill-building activities aligned to TriNet’s products and services and sales skills.
  • Ensure ASC proficiency in core tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Groove) and reinforce consistent adoption of best practices.
  • Identify skill gaps and continuously evolve enablement strategies to improve speed-to-productivity and sales impact.
  • Oversee and continuously improve ASC deal support activities, including prospecting, scheduling, follow-ups, meeting preparation, and customer communications.
  • Partner with Field Sales Consultants and Directors to gather ongoing feedback on ASC performance and strengthen field partnership.
  • Advocate for ASCs internally by helping build visibility and credibility for future promotion opportunities.
  • Manage team travel and team-building budgets, ensuring effective and responsible use of resources.
  • Track performance metrics and program outcomes to inform continuous program improvement.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
