Food Runner - TAP - Excalibur

We're inviting passionate individuals to join our team at Excalibur as a Food Runner at TAP! If you have a knack for delivering exceptional tableside service with a friendly demeanor, describing dishes in detail, and confidently answering guest questions, we'd love to hear from you.

THE JOB:

The Food Runner's main role is to deliver courteous and efficient tableside service to guests. This includes presenting dishes in a detailed manner and responding knowledgeably to guest inquiries about the menu items.

STARTING PAY RATE: $15.3802/hr Plus Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome.

• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter.

• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes.

• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)

• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position.

• Perform assigned open and closing side-work.

• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management  of  guest  reaction  and  comments  and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service.

• Check dining area, tables, and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Flexibility to work various shifts/hours as needed per on call requirement.

• Prior Relevant Experience with food and beverage in a similar high-volume setting.

• Strong multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple orders and tables simultaneously.

• Experience in complying with food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Effective problem-solving abilities to resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously.

• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume environment, demonstrating efficiency and maintaining quality service standards.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.

RESTAURANT DETAILS:

• Sunday, Saturday: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

• Monday, Thursday to Friday: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

• Tuesday to Wednesday: Closed

• Pizza (Bar Only)

• Daily: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
