Your Role:

At Tenable, we’re shaping the way cloud security is done by constantly analyzing the challenges and practices of both defenders and adversaries. We’re looking for security architects to join our technical marketing team to advance our efforts to provide the cloud security industry with high quality thought leadership. 

The ideal candidates are self-motivated engineers or cyber security architects with exceptional communications and engagement management skills, who are autodidacts and out-of-the-box thinkers with a proven record of being able to quickly master and manipulate new technologies while also being able to communicate their findings and ideas in an effective way by various media - both verbally and by creating written content. They should be well-versed in cybersecurity concepts and risk management as well as cloud technologies.

Your Opportunity:

• Relationship management - you will work with partners and customers, as well as colleagues in the cyber security community and industry influencers on a regular basis - leading our engagement in various channels / medias with cyber security professional communities 

• Thought leadership - you will be on the cutting edge of analyzing techniques, technologies and procedures of defenders and attackers as well as communicating what you produce to a large audience of security professionals both online and by speaking at events and conferences

• Content creation - you will be creating high end cybersecurity content in various media, analyzing cloud technologies, breaches, attack vectors, defensive strategies, etc.   

• Expertise - you will be part of an expert team constantly advancing the company’s knowledge and understanding of the leading cloud and security technologies available today

What You'll Need:

• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent STEM related degree  

• 3+ years of experience in a Developer Relations, Application Security, Security Architecture, Automation Integration and deployment (DevOps), Technical / Cyber Analyst or Equivalent Technical Roles 

• Hands-on experience and proven working knowledge of at least one IaaS platform - AWS / Azure / GCP 

• High technical, analytical and problem solving skills 

• Ability to work independently, plan, multi-task and manage complicated assignments with little-to-no supervision 

• High proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English 

• Being valuable as a team player collaborating with multiple and various counterparts within the company 

And Ideally:

• Proven experience in customer facing roles, partner and / or community management 

• Red-team and / or penetration testing experience 

• Working familiarity with cyber security compliance standards and best practices  

• Proven ability in working with large audiences in an instructional role 

• Software engineering background 

• Experience as part of a security team in a large scale organization  

• Proven experience performing risk assessments for large scale enterprises 

• Experience working in a consultancy role  

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
